Office 2007 Crashes Frequently

What can I do to stop Office 2007 Beta from crashing many times each day,
requiring me to restart it? When it does I have to each time again set up my
folder preferences. The error message help refers to Adobe Acrobat 2007 which
I DO NOT HAVE. My version of Adobe is 2006 Professional.

This is becoming very annoying.

Regardless of the version of Acrobat (Acrobat 7.0, 6.0, or some nebulous
combination of year numbers) the error message refers to, I would try
disabling the add-ins Acrobat creates for the various Office applications.

how do I accomplish this?

There may be (probably is) another way, but I would open each program, go to
Office (round button) | Program Options, choose Add-Ins on the left, and
choose COM Add-ins from the Manage dropdown at the bottom. Then hit Go.
Disable anything Adobe-related. Then I'd do the same with the <Program Name>
Add-ins option. (I don't have any Adobe add-ins installed with Office 2007
right now, so I can't tell you off the top of my head if they are COM
add-ins or "regular "ones.)

Easiest way is to use Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Change Adobe
Acrobat Pro 6/7 (or whatever version you have) and remove the Outlook &
Office plugins.
I suppose the crashes you are referring to happen in Outlook?
