Office 2007 Development

I've noticed in the CTP of VSTO v3 that there is not a project template
for Word 12... is this something that will now be replaced by a Word
Add-in developed in VSTO?

If I want users to create new word documents based on a specific
template with strict formatting, bookmarks and document variables -
which is best? To develop a Word Document application using VSTO or a
create a Word Add-in? Currently we are using Office XP - through the
use of VBA we are populating Word forms with data from SQL....

I think I read somewhere that the template will be there. Eventually.
Keep in mind that this is just a technical preview. VSTO v3 isn't even in
beta, yet
