Office 2007 docx format

Well, now Office 2007 is here, and I have yet to find any solution to
the readability problem with Mac Office (though there is a fix for PC
users in earlier versions). Our organization has sent out an e-mail
asking all Office 2007 PC users to save in .doc format, but that
doesn't help us if that doesn't happen. Any other solutions out there?
