I had Windows XP SP2 (Home) and had installed Office 2007 Enterprise.
It all ran happily, and Excel/Word/Access would open from the Start
Menu (I had pinned these 3)
I have now upgraded to Windows Vista Business, and these apps will not
start if I pin them or unpin them (so that they are on the 'favourite'
or most common apps)
If I use Start>All Programs>Microsoft Office>Excel/Word etc they run
fine.
Anyone else had this? It's a pain, I don't particularly want to add
Shortcuts to the Desktop.
