Office 2007 Enterprise Version Usable on Purchased Used Computer?

I'm considering purchasing a used (barely) laptop that has the Enterprise
version of Office 2007 on it. Will I be able to use the applications or are
they only legally able to be used by the original owner of the computer?

I suspect that you don't qualify for the Volume licensing. That license
would still belong to the organization that purchased it, so unless you
work for them it wouldn't be valid.
