I have a problem with office 2007 enterprise in the 2003 version pro in Word
I could just add the pages numbers .
2007 Word it will add a piece of the footer and show it and I don't see any
number on the pages... To me this is so confusing. especially when I receive
a document in the compatiblity mode it does the same. I can convert it but I
still can't add the numbers to the pages.... no matter where. Can someone
help me out please? I did follow the direction in help menu its not working.
All I want to do is number the pages at the bottom I never in my life had so
much trouble adding numbers to the pages in a document.
I probably goofing it up somewhere could someone help me out please....

PS since there I uninstalled and reinstalled Word numbering is still grayed
