Office 2007, Excel, DELETE HEADER

Click the Header content. On the Design tab of the Header & Footer
Contextual tools go to the left end, in the Header & Footer Group click
Header, select (none) from the menu.

Note, however, that you've posted to the group for Mac Excel. Not that you
aren't welcome here, but there are a number of differences so we might not
be able to help you on all issues. It would be better to post to the group
for Windows Excel:
