I am running a rather large data Pivot Table from Excel 2007 from an SQL
Server 2000 database cube. I am not sure how to appropriately word the
difficulty.
I start the query by adding a dimension to the Excel Pivot then expand it to
the detail, then I add another dimension and expand that both are 2 deep.
This process maxes out my 3.9Gz processor and peaks at about 1.5 Gb of Ram of
2.5 total available. This produces about 800 lines of output. When I add
one more dimension (not having selected even one measure yet) the query runs
but then the output is blank. So far I can't determine why this would occur,
any suggestions on a setting a missing or something else?
