Hi Russ, below is the file association as requested. Seems exactly the
same.
I have CS2 running on the notebook, not sure if that might cause the
issue.
I have Outlook configured to preview attachements in side the preview pane
with out the usual prompt. It seems that all the office documents and
other
image types load and display correctly. Our MS Small business server
receives faxes and route them via email to my inbox.
I received a 2 page fax, the preview page should the fax with two pages
but
displayed the first page for both pages. If i open the fax with MS image
fax
viewer then all is well

Jaco

What Milly meant is that there will be no fax integration with Outlook
2007.
However, as you point out, TIF files should still display properly. How
are
you trying to display them and what is your file association for TIF
files?
It should be:
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MODI\12.0\MSPVIEW.EXE"
"%1"

I not 100% sure what is meant by MIA. Will this feature be removed from
Outlook 2007 or is there no one capable of answering the question.
I just want to clarify in case I did not come across clear enough. The
question is with regards to the viewing of attachments in the preview
pane
and not actual fax functionality. I am sure that the issue will be
found
in
any tiff images not necessary that of received faxes

Jaco

Per our resident Fax Doctor, Fax support in Outlook/Office 2007 is
officially MIA.

After furious head scratching, JDeVil asked:
| I have configured my Inbox to view the attachments in the preview.
| This works generally well.
|
| One problem, multi page tiff documents (faxes recieved) displays the
| first page for all pages. Is this correct or do I need to configure
| differently.
|
| If I view the document in MS Image & Fax viewer then all pages
display
| correctly
