office 2007 from eopen will not run - winzip self extractor corrup

I downloaded Office 2007 from eopen/MVLS to a laptop.

The file then requested me to unzip, I did and it does not run. I get the
error message: WinZip Self-Extractor header corrupt. Possible cause: bad
disk or file transfer error.

I have downloaded office several times and keep getting the same message.

I have called Microsoft, and they keep transferring my telephone call back
and forth with no results.

I have probably not done something correctly; but I don't know what or how
to fix it.

I have seven more laptops to go and can't even get the first one

Did you delete the previously downloaded file before downloading the next?
Have you tried running any disk diagnostic utilities to make sure your hard
drive is o.k.?
