Office 2007 Home Download Problem

I received the trial file, X12-30107, that I downloaded from the Microsoft
website without any apparent problem. I do not understand how to open the
file using Windows XP software. When I click on the file, it asks me to
choose the program I want to use to open the file. What program will allow
me to open the file and proceed to install the programs?

I had that same problem and I just kicked myself. after the file name the
X12-30107 put .exe and you should be able to open it.
