Office 2007 Home & Student Edition with previous Office 2003 insta

Windows Vista Premium home edition on Dell quad core processor. Have Office
2003 Professional edition installed. Tried downloading and installing Office
2007 home and student edition trial. Excel 2007 opens up but when I try to do
anything I get the hour glass. I tried uninstalling Office 2003 and the
trial 2007 edition and then reinstalling Office 2007, but it didn't work. I
tried downloading Office 2007 and putting it in a different location than
where it wanted to in Program Files.

I am awaiting the boxed version of Office 2007 Home and Student Edition.

Do you have any ideas on why this Office 2007 is not working?
