office 2007 home & student edition

my laptop came pre-installed with a trial version of office 07 home and
student. I activated the trial and then i bought the full version today.
Everytime i enter the product key i get an invalid product key message. how
can this be?? I just purchased it today. What can I do? What steps do I take
to get a refund? Please Help!!

Uninstall trial, clean up temp files, reboot, install retail version

I just told a coworker to dump the trial version on a system he bought the
other night. I don't want the next post with this issue to be from Jason.

I uninstalled trial, cleaned up temp files, robooted, and I inserted the disk
with office and I still got an incorrect key code message. Any ideas?

I did everything you mentioned and it still would not accept my product key.
And the product key is valid, but it says it is not valid. Any more ideas?
