Office 2007. How to change the initial language used by the built-in translator

Whenever one of my boss gets a letter in English, he needs to translate it into Russian. I've gotten him used to using the built in translator, but every time it comes up, the initial language from translating from is always Russian and the target language is English. It should always be the other way around. Is there is way to do that?
