Office 2007: how to import macros and toolbars created in previous version

Daniel

Hi everybody,

New PC, new Office package. Need some help.

How can I recuperate / import all the macros, associated buttons and
toolbars I had created in Word 2003?
Assuming it is possible to import all these, what security issues should I
expect and how should I proceed?

Many thanks in advance for your kind help and advice.

with Brgds,
Daniel

Nothing special to be done with macros - they will be available in Word 2007
when you create/open a document that is/was created from the template that
contains the macros.

In Word 2007, any toolbars that you created in a template in Word 2003 (or
earlier) will appear under the Add-Ins tab of the Ribbon.

See the article "Toolbars and Word 2007" on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's

Thank you so much for your time and concern, Doug.
I will go thru this and hopefully I'll be able to use the new Word as easily
as I could do before.

Very Brgds,

Sorry to bother you again, Doug.
I don't have the Ad-in ttab of the ribbon. How can I activate it ?

The add-in tab is present only when an add-in is loaded.
