I know this is a hot topic as I've seen many many postings on different
forums about this issue.
But none of the suggested solutions has so far worked for me and this issue
is one of the biggest frustrations I have ever had with computers.
I am astonished that Microsoft has not released an executable that will
interrogate the system and fix the appropriate issue.
Anyway, enough of that!
I really do need a solution that doest not involve uninstalling Vista.....
so offers invited - thankyou.
Background is
- It's a Dell Vista Home Premium Laptop
- It came installed with Office 2007 trial
- I uninstalled the Office 2007 trial
- I installed and ran the Service pack update on Office 2007 Home & Student
- I have uninstalled that and reinstalled it... no joy.
- Also have tried deleting certain log files reccommended in various places
- Also have tried running the Vista repair disk
- I have also looked in the registry but I think many of the registry type
fixes are directed at Office 2003 so I have not made any changes.
All inputs welcome!
Thanks
