Hi Jabbar,

There are several methods/approaches, depending on the amount of customization you want to have/control and what other deployment
tools you may be using (if any - no additional ones are required). You may want to have a look at the Office 2007 Resource Kit
(deployment) at
http://microsoft.com/office/ork

Hi Jabbar,

Refer to the following methods:

Method 1: create Office 2007 installation point
===============
1. Create a shared folder on the Server 2003 which can be accessed by the clients. For example: \\servername\OFF2007
2. Copy the contents of Office 2007 installation CD to the folder \\servername\OFF2007.
3. Right click the file config.xml on the OFF2007 folder and choose Open With > NotePad.
4. In the line of PIDKEY, edit is as <PIDKEY Value="1234512345123451234512345" />.
5. Also, you can customize other features for the installation of Office 2007 by the file config.xml or the OCT (Office Customization
Tool). For detail information about config.xml, refer to the webpage: http://technet2.microsoft.com/Office/en-us/library/efd0ee45-
9605-42d3-9798-3b698fff3e081033.mspx?mfr=true.
6. Ask the client to run the setup.exe file on the OFF2007 folder to install Office 2007.

Method 2: If you are in the Domain environment, you can also deploy Office 2007 to the end user via GPO or SMS
==============
Use Group Policy Software Installation to deploy the 2007 Office system
