I currently have office xp pro 2002, and a trial version of xp small business
ed. 2003. When I install office 2007 home and student, should I remove the
previous editions? Also, will my previoius word and exel docs work ok?

Yes remove the Trial . Back up all your Office Data that you want to keep(save).

As far as Office XP presently on your system I have to ask if the office 2007 home and student is it a retail or an upgrade version

Should I also remove the office pro 2002 already on my system?

If Retail then I would remove both Office XP and your Trial version and install the H&S retail version only.

Saving your needed data files still applies
