My company recently upgraded from Office 2003 to Office 2007. We are now
having a problem with latency when we run any of the office programs. We
found that the default file location drive was set to a network drive. If we
change it to a local drive on the computer the latency goes away. This was
carried over from when we had Office 2003 and seemed to work fine when we
were running Office 2003. What I’m trying to find out is why we are getting
the latency with this setting now after we upgraded to office 2007.
