Office 2007 looks like Office 97

Can someone tell me how my Office 2007 installation ended up looking
like Office 97?

I recently switched to the gray (Vista) theme in the 2007 (beta 1)
installation and left on vacation. When I came home, the computer had
rebooted, and this is what I saw:

So I decided to update to B2TR and see if it helped and I'm still
getting that look. It's propagated all through the suite, so it's got
to be a service or reg entry somewhere. Any ideas? Can't seem to find
anything pointing in the right direction.

Check your graphics driver. This looks like you are running Vista Basic
with 256 colors. Probably your graphics driver isn't up to date?
Which Vista build are you running? Is there any chance that you have RTM
with nVidia beta drivers (downloaded from nVidia)?

Ooops, should have mentioned it's XP. Although I seemed to have found a
solution. I just disabled my third monitor, which happens to be
detached at the moment anyway and the theme instantly came back. I
would venture a guess it had something to do with the driver. Anyway,
all is well now.
