Office 2007 lost my Windows7 boot file location when i did the upd

Office Enterprise 2007 installed fine on my windows 7 machine but when i
installed the 25 needed updates and rebooted, Windows lost the boot file
location? Could not repair from disc and could not get to safe mode.
