Office 2007 missing from Add or Remove Programs

I installed Office 2007 Ultimate as an upgrade to Office 2003 but I get this
error when starting an Office program or accessing the help:

"A setup controller has encountered a problem during install. Please review
the log files for further information on the error."

I can't Repair the installation, because Office 2007 simply DOESN'T show at
all in the Add or Remove Programs list. I don't know where to go from here
and have already run the Office Diagnostics - and it did not find any
problems.

Nevermind folks. I fixed my own problem.

1. I manually uninstalled the Office 2003 components that were left over
(not uninstalled the first time by the installer)
2. Used the Microsoft Installer Clean Up utility to remove the entries for
Outlook 2007 MUI components
3. Re-installed Office 2007 on top of the previous, incomplete (I guess)
installation I performed
4. Ensured all Antivirus, Firewall, etc programs were disabled
