office 2007 msp order evaluation

Am i correct in that Office 2007 setup will process *.msp files
located in the 'updates' folder with no options added to the
setup.exe.

I have an install location with an updates folder that has the
following contents;

1. the extracted MSP files from the SP2 distribution
2. an MSP file created using the Office customization tool

In the above circumstance is it better for the sp2 MSP files to
process before or after the OCT generated MSP file?

Please could you advise on the order of processing of these MSP files
by the office 2007 setup program.
