Office 2007 Ultimate Edition
I have just installed updated drivers for ATI TV Wonder 650 and rebooted.
Somehow this caused Microsoft LifeCam to run its progress bar and then close.
But now I get an error detected message on booting saying Office must close,
send report to Microsoft window which has a check in a box that says
'restart'. The information sent to Microsoft includes the LifeCam log. The
actual data is too much to put here.
I am not aware of requiring any aspect of Office 2007 to open when I boot.
I open the components of Office as I need them.
Probably removing and reinstalling LifeCam will fix the problem but I would
like to know how Office got hooked into this situation.
I have allowed the reports to be sent to Microsoft. I always do...but they
seem to arise almost every day.
My system is Dell XPS 400 4Gb RAM Pentium 940 3.2 GHz Windows XP Media
Center Edition. I have Vista Ultimate but have not installed it yet.
