Office 2007 not responding

GSKKSG

Running on Vista. All the Office suite applications, word, excel, outlook
etc load with a long (50-60 sec) delay or not at all and a message of "not
responding" is shown. If I attempt to open an existing document from a
folder, I usually get a message of "Windows cannot find 'C\user\...... Make
sure you typed the name correctly and try again"

I've tried reinstalling the Office 2007 programs, initially as a repair and
also as a new reload. There are no duplicates shown in program files. I
scanned the registries and other tuneups with Norton 360 and all is reported
as OK. I've look and removed most add-ons. I also exported most of my emails
from Outlook as pst files to an external harddrive. All Windows updates and
drivers are current.

I have a very similar problem with Vista OS, Office 2007, if the default
printer is a networked Samsung ML-2240 printer. It originated with an
update a month or so ago. I got around the problem by installing Windows 7
RC. XP does not have the problem either.
