office 2007 not responsive after coming out of hibernation

When laptop is brought out of hibernation, office 2007 apps open but then
freeze up and cant be closed or used but every other app on the machine
functions properly.

Machine has to be re-booted to get MS Office 2007 to work..

Has anyone else run into this and if so is there any known issues?
