Office 2007 / Office 2007 Technical Refresh

I had installed Office 2007 Beta 2 a few months back and found it too slow to
work with on a daily basis, and was advised that this was due to the fact
that the beta software hadn't been optimized yet. Thus, I uninstalled.

Can anyone tell me if the techical refresh or current beta is acceptably
fast to use on a daily basis? I realize that beta means beta, but in order
for me to properly give a good review of the software, I need to be able to
use it on a normal basis.

Thanks!

Hi Paul,

Which parts of the suite did you find too slow back then? B2TR is
definitely faster than B2, but if there are any specific parts that
really bothered you, let me know and I'll check them.

It seemed (from memory) that Outlook (w/ BCM) was particularly slow, but I
recall Word and all the other items also crawling. I should mentioned that I
am using XPsp2 on a 3ghz p4.

If I am not mistaken, isn't the Tech Refresh only for Vista?

Thanks Patrick...

How much RAM do you have?
The tech refresh is for Vista RC1, Windows XP SP2 and (at least) Windows
Server 2003 SP1.
