Hello All,
In previous versions of MS Office, I have MS Office 97~XP there was a
"Shortcut Bar" I believe, I cannot find it in the Vista version 2007, is it
gone or am I not looking in the correct folder to install it? Also I had the
option of upon boot and startup of windows it could start Outlook
automatically, I did it by placing the icon in the startup folder, now I get
a error message. Any thoughts? All help appreciated, Best wishes to all.

Hi Marc,

The MS Office Shortcut Bar was discontinued after the Office XP/2002 version.

There isnt a Visa version of Office, there is an Office 2007 version, which
also runs on winxp.
The shortcut bar was a feature that was dropped some time ago, There is an
option to add 'Open Office Doc' and 'New Office document' to your Start
Group
IMO adding outlook to auto start on bootup adds an unneccessary overload to
starting win.

Well I use calendar in Outlook and syncs to my handheld and when I start up
my laptop I come back and it's open so when I am making appointments it
ready.
