Office 2007 practice will not download

Kim

I am testing Vista and Office 2007 for our large company and am using a valid
copy of Vista and 2007, but am not able to download practice exercises from
Microsoft training. I can download the exercises for 2003, which actually
open in 2007, but not the 2007 exercises.

The error I get is "The template for your practice session cannot be
downloaded at this time because of a problem on a Microsoft Office online
server. Please try again later.

At this rate, our company will probably not upgrade, since training will
definitely be required.

Hi Kim,

Do you have a link to the page where you're seeing this and/or the specific training module, etc?

Sometimes that particular error clears by clearing the temporary internet files cache and/or restarting the PC.

The message appears with any of the Office 2007 training modules where Office
2003 is also installed. Since others who didn't have the problem didn't have
2003 also installed, so I ended up removing Office 2003 and the downloads for
2007 began working.

I have another setup with Office 2003 and Office 2007 on another computer
with Windows XP and I had the same problem. I will try deleting temporary
internet files to see if that corrects. If it does not, this will definitely
delay our decision to upgrade, as we have users who would like to keep 2003
installed for a while until they feel comfortable with the new release.
