Office 2007 Professional Trial; Word

While working on a manuscript, the cursor jumps off the word I'm typing to a
word or sentence already completed screwing the whole enterprise into a state
of chaos. I've followed "Help's' suggestions about changing size of pointer
but have had no success. Is there anyone who has experienced this and knows
how to solve the problem? Just typing typing this took twenty
minutes...thanks, rmlavalle

Sounds like you're using a laptop with a "touchy" touchpad. Keep your thumbs
(and palms) off of it!
