office 2007 professional

Hi, I have a question about office 2007 professional.

Some sellers say their MS office 2007 pro can work up to 3PCs,

but some sellers say theirs can work on 2PCs or 1PC.

Why are they different? and which one is right?

Cheers

There are only TWO versions of Office that can run on more than two
machines - Home and Student (which is NOT the Professional edition, and
doesn't contain Outlook) and Volume Licensing editions.

And any oem edition can only be installed on a single PC, and once that PC
dies so does office

Using the word "sellers" implies you are shopping for Office on an auction
site.

Step away from the keyboard and no one will get hurt! :)

Seriously, the last place I would shop for Office is on eBay or the
equivalent. On eBay you can find sellers who say you can install Office
[other than H&S] on three computers--they are lying or ignorant (I don't know
which is worse). There are sellers selling just product keys (illegal).
There are sellers selling Academic software to anybody (illegal). There are
sellers selling editions of Office that are volume licensing only (illegal).
And then there are the counterfeits (illegal)! Yikes! The Office Genuine
Advantage forum is littered with the bodies of people who bought their Office
