Check your graphics driver. Make sure you have the newest version. Also
check the settings of your graphics card.

When I load any Office 2007 program, the ribbon interface is shown in
a vey strange mode. Color is limited to 16 and all menus and toolbars
are flat. For a sample screenshot displaying this behaviour please
visithttp://incastea.atspace.com/office2007_ribbonbug.JPG If you are
familiar with this error and have any idea or information about a fix,
I'd be pleased to hear. Thanks in advance.
I'm using the latest drivers of my graphics card (of course). I using
32 bit color depth under Windows XP SP2 (of course). The Themes
Service is also "tuned on and running" (of course...). This behaviour
strangely covers all Office Editions which include themes, such as
Office 2003 and 2007. The stand-alone installation of FrontPage 2003
is also affected by this phenomenon. This situation is an unreported
bug, because this occurs under certain circumstances and there are
temporary ways to resolve this issue but I'm looking for a permanent
solution. One way you can initiate this problem is to use a custom
skin which is not provided my Microsoft itself. Most commonly the
Vista-like skins with Aero-like transparency through 3rd party skin
software (such as WB) causes this issue. Anyway, I'm still open to
ideas for a solution. Thanks again.
