office 2007 runtime error

When I press F1 foe Help in Excel or Word (probably all of the suite) I get a
RUNTIME ERROR with the dialog box saying Invalis Character in Line 1. If I
decline the DEBUG option all is well until I click on any link within Help.

Any Ideas?
