Office 2007 Screen Resolution

I recently used RDP to connect to my desktop running Windows XP and Office
2007 SP1. Now when I open any of my Office products the ribbon bar is
distorted and the Office button is colorless. Also, I cannot change my color
scheme. If I connect using RDP and open an Office product it looks fine. Is
there a setting in Office that turns on optimization when connecting with
RDP?
