Posted in Office General, too.
I am using the OCT to deploy Office 2007 to a test group. I have placed the
extracted SP1 files in the Updates folder, along with some other Office 2007
updates. Everything goes well, and I have confirmed that SP1 installed.
What's interesting is that when I go to Microsoft's Office Update site, I am
told that I need to install SP1. Anyone have any idea why this could be
happening?
On a side note, reading the Overview notes on the SP1 download page, there
is a sentence that says "Service Pack 1 will install even if a publicly
available update has already been installed on your computer." What,
exactly, does this mean?
Thanks for the assistance.
