Office 2007 SP1 finally installed!

I have been having immense problems installing updates (database errors) and
uninstalling office 2007 producats (can't find installation files or corrupt
installation database errors).

When I ran Windows Update again yestyerday (I am running Windows Vista)
There was Office 2007 SP1 update on the important list again. I ran it, and
it installed with no problems.

Boy was I surprised! I had not made any changes. I had not done anything
different that I can think of!

The only thing I can think of is Microsoft changed something recently in the
service pack itself to fix a problem.... I hope someone can tell me if this
is true or not It would be nice to know what the problem was.

But perhaps we'll never know.................................

Anyway - if you have been having trouble installing 2007 SP1, try again
today.

Hi Anya,

do you know, if the SP was downloaded again? Usually it is displayed
in the list, until it becomes installed, but the download size is
zero, since it was downloaded already.

Yes, it downloaded again - good question - It was not on my list for about 4
days, and then it showed again as available for download...
