Office 2007 SP1 update - successful

At someone's suggestion I uninstalled Office 2007 completely using Add/Remove
Programs in the Control Panel and then re-booted the computer. Once it had
re-booted I re-installed Office 2007 using the OEM CD provided when I
purchased the Sony Vaio with Vista Business and Office 2007 pre-installed.
When Office 2007 had re-installed it asked if I wanted to get updates, to
which I agreed and it went directly to the site and I re-downloaded SP1. I
asked the prompt to Run the program, rather than Save. SP1 is now
successfully installed and everything seems to work.
