Office 2007 SP2 "The expected version was not found"

Hi all

A couple of my users from our French office are using XP version 2002 SP3
and running Office 2007.

After running the installer for Office 2007 SP2 they get the message "the
expected version of the product was not found on the system".

I have searched but not found anything relating that message to this update.

Can you help?
