Office 2007 Trial Over Office 2003 Pro

I'm trying to discover the consequences of installing the Office 2007
Professional Trial version over my fully licensed version of Office
2003 Professional. Surprisingly I can find nothing on the Office site
that addresses this.

I have searched and read a few threads that had similar questions, but
none of the responses were very expressive. Mostly four or five word
sentences that barely address the issues involved. Is there a resource
somewhere on the Microsoft website that addresses concerns about
installing Office 2007 Trials over licensed Office products?

My key concerns:

If I am not impressed enough with Office 2007 to shell out the
relatively high upgrade cost, can I simply remove the 2007 Trial and
go back to 2003? Or is it major surgery? By major surgery I mean will
I be chasing various hard-to-find components of 2007 and/or deleting
registry keys in order to remove it well enough to reinstall my Office
2003 Pro? Will all of my present documents still work in 2003 Pro
after removing 2007? Or does 2007 convert them permanently? Would I
need to back them all up ahead of time?

Will Outlook 2007 support synchronization of my Pocket PC phone
running Windows Mobile 5?

No, an un/reinstall should do the job

Office 2007 won't convert docs unless you ask so, also there is a converter
available for Office2003 to work with the new formats

Yes,, but an ActiveSync update may be needed.
