Office 2007 Trial

MS is saying my trial has expired; not so.

What can I do or who can I communicate with to get it reset?

You buy it. I would suggest using Amazon.com. It's a few dollars less than
buying it from Microsoft or somplace like Best Buy, you'll have the disks,
and they usually offer free shipping.

I am not ready to buy it until I take a test drive. Is it possible to get my
trial version reset.

Thank you for the good tip to go to Amazon; my research show that you can
buy Professional for as low as $178.00.

Are there any issues in buying from an Amazon seller at these prices; other
than 'Buyer Beware'?

You said your trial expired so I assumed you have already had the test drive
period.

Make sure you are getting the proper suite, etc. I'm not sure how Amazon
deals with issues of private sellers thru them - I buy from Amazon directly.

The following is my original statement; my test period did not run for 60
days [maybe 7-10 day before they said that it expired].

"MS is saying my trial has expired; not so."

What can I do or who can I communicate with to get it reset?

Again, my test period did not run for 60 days [maybe 7-10 day before they
said that it expired]. I guess that I am old school enough to expect people
to do what they advertise. This is the first time in over 10 years that I
have ever had an issue with MS; I am one of their biggest fans!!!

Is there anything that can be done to re-boot the trial version?

Kind regards,

Carl

I'm having the exact same problem, it was a 60 day trial and it "run out"
after just 5-10 days I tried to contact microsoft and they said there would
be a $40 charge for help @_@ also try software4students. com/co.uk
sorry I've forgot the extension they sell the office 2007 ultimate package
for just £50 (about $70-$90) software4students is actually part of
microsoft so it's a fairly secure site. as far as I know there is actually
a way to edit the registry and reset the 60 days I don't know how and even if
I did I wouldn't say here due to the fact that an unlimited use trial is
probably in breach of the copyright
laws.
