Office 2007 Ultimate Academic Version

Losing my mind here.
I purchased the aforementioned software, opened the box and attempted
to load it on my desktop. I placed the cd in the drive, the green
light dances a little but no install program launches. Puzzled and
wondering if I'd received a defective cd, I removed the cd from the
drive and placed it in my laptop - and the install program launches.

For the record - the desktop currently is running Office 2003
Professional. The laptop is currently running Office 2007
Professional.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! I will try that. But my laptop has a version of the program
that I am trying to install while my desktop has 2003 and I am
installing 2007.
Anything is worth a try!
