I hope there is an office guru out there that can help, but I fear I've
fallen victim to a very annoying Office bug.
I recently upgraded from Office 2000 to 2007, all went smoothly until I
fired up Word and realised that my custom dictionary is no longer used.
In fact it seems to have disappeared completely. The only '.DIC' file I
can find is the empty one (CUSTOM.DIC) Word is currently using.
Has anyone heard of this before or have any idea if the setup program
has made a backup of customised files and where they might be?
Please don't tell me personalised files are deleted as part of a
product upgrade! They wouldn't .. would they
