Office 2007 Upgrade Question...

S

Sean

Back when I started college in 2000, I purchased a copy of Office 2000
Professional. Between moving dorm rooms and poor storage, I've
virtually destroyed the CDs and the backup copies that I have made
(but I still have my license key). After demoing Office 2007, I'm
interested in purchasing a copy as an upgrade.
From what I have read, it requires a copy of the CD in order to
install the upgrade. Since my CDs are unreadable, will I still be
able to purchase the upgrade, or would I be better off purchasing a
full version?

Full version. At some point you will need to install Office on another
computer and if you only have the upgrade, you'll be screwed (the technical
term) when it looks for the qualifying product.
