Office 2007 will not install

When I try to install Office 2007 I get an error that says the following:
Microsoft Office ultimate 2007 encountered an error during setup." and then
stops and leaves a close button on the window.

I have tried all the suggestions that I can find on the Microsoft sites, but
nothing works.

Office Ultimate? Is it a hologramed disk from Microsoft?

I bought the system from another person, he may have bought the disk from
microsoft, I don't know. And yes, you are being nosy because you have not
yet helped me solve my problem. Office 2007 was installed on the system and
it worked, I wanted to include some items that were not installed and I get
the message that started this out. If you cannot help me, please don't
bother me. Thanks

by the way, I did not say it was an OEM version. But for your information,
Dell does sell an upgrage. The following is from the Dell site:
