office 2007 will not run

Office 2007 will not open and run after I installed it. I have tried
uninstalling and re-installing. I downloaded every update i could find.
before installing it the first time I uninstalled office 2003, don't know if
that matters.

What version of Windows and what Service Pack level?

When I try to open?...Nothing. The arrow pointer has an hour glass for abbout
2-3 second and then goes away and nothing happens. No error message or
anything!

Hey Gordon,
I am running Windows XP (i think 2002) it has service pack 2. I downloaded
pack 3 but when i rebooted my computer ran VERY slow and my internet card
would not read. i did a computer restore back to when i took office 2003 off.
Hopeing that would fix all my problems. After the restore it went back to
service pack 2.
Do you want the version of Office? I am at work now but i will get you more
detailed information when i get home, if this information does not help you.

service pack 2

Computer:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) M
processor 1.70GHz
1.70GHz, 504 MB of RAM

By version do you mean...Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007?
There are no error messages. It just does nothing. I sure hope you can help!!

Did you disable your Antimalware and AV programs before installing?

turned off vp and firewall, re-installed. Found a version and product id in
add and remove programs. Also updated to XP Serv Pk 3. Not sure whatelse to
do.
