office 2007 won't work for laptop but did for home pc

I have office 2007 home and student and i installed it on my pc, entered the
product key, and it worked just fine. being dumb, i threw away the box that
had the product key on it. i bought a laptop recently and have tried to
install my office 2007 on it yet it asks for a product key (which of course i
don't have) and gives me the option of buying one from microsoft. i already
paid 135 dollars for this software, really don't want to put out anymore
money. any ideas? thanks
