Office 2007 - Word Macro

good morning,

i had posted here about a month back, but now i cannot find the post so i'm
here again.

i have a word template that has form controls for the date, and a field for
a name, and a bunch of other things. i want to write a macro to save the
file with the date and file name.

in the post that i got back, it told me how to create a link or reference
back to the name field so that it would be captured in the macro for the file
name.

any help or suggestions,
