Hi, I just have a quick question. I bought Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 a while back for my old pc, but I just bought a new macbook yesterday. Is there anyway that I could pay for an upgrade or whatever so I don't have to purchase a whole new office? Thanks in advance!

I sincerely doubt it ‹ Win Office & Mac Office are from totally separate
business units within MS and are licensed accordingly. However, I sincerely
believe that nothing beats a try but a failure, so I'd suggest that you
first contact the vendor from whom you purchased 2007. Depending on how long
"a while back" actually amounts to they may be wiling to make an exchange.

If that's a dead end you can directly contact MS Customer Service in your
area. They may be able to offer some type of consideration.

There is no upgrade from Office for the PC and Office for Mac. If you don't
need Exchange you can get Office 2008 very reasonably. $113.99

If you do need Exchange support, I suggest getting the special media
edition. It's actually cheaper than the standard edition right now.

Standard $252. Special Media edition $208.

Cheers and Welcome to Mac! I have a few tips and links posted to help new
