Office 2007

S

Sandancer

Could anyone tell me wether it is posibble to run Office 2007 with the old
File, Format menus ETC,

For example i am running vista but still have the classic start menu from
windows 98 as thi s is what i am used to.

I have got to admit office 2007, is a much better improvement on the last
office i had, 2003, but it is taking me ages to get things done as i have to
keep looking iin the help to see where the new buttons are, For Example. I
am not a great typer and just bang away until the end when i correct my
mistakes. 1 thing that i used to use reguarly was when i could change
letters to either All Caps or sentence ,(where the first letter is
capitalized) or could change capitals to small letters etc.

Any help on thsi topic would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You can take a look at the (free) Classic UI features of my
RibbonCustomizer add-in (see my blog for the announcements, a final and
easily installable package will be due out shortly).
Quite frankly though, you might be better off just learning the Office
2007 Ribbon UI. Read my blog posts linked below to customizing Office
2007. I would say that with spending an hour or so once, you can find
the features you miss the most, and either remember where they are or
add them to the Quick Access Toolbar. You can also of course use my
add-in to change the Ribbon to be more useful to you.
