No it's not. 2007, once you get to learn it is FAR quicker than wading
through millions of menu options..

Office 2007 has great new features that you should explore. For example
the Ribbon is a great new interactive guide that can help you be mor
productive in the Microsoft Office programs.

In addition to the resource page - Isabella stated (New to Office 2007)

Here is a specific page that might help in the learning process. Many
stumble over learning the Ribbon bar initially, and assume the older
pulldown menus are better.

You can use this interactive guide online or download them.

I'd suggest - concentrate on the tasks you use VERY often, learn the 2007
(and soon for most 2010) ribbon method - possibly even make some screen
shots of their locations with the interactive guides.

Once you've memorized the Ribbon method, and become more comfortable with
the Ribbon methods overall, you'll soon realize - the older pulldown
methods, while comfortable now because of years of use - are not as
efficient - particularly as a company adds features - the pulldown menus
grow longer and are more cumbersome in the long run.

The Backstage View in Office 2010 accomplishes a similar more efficient way
as well. The File Tab replaces the Microsoft Office button, and reduces the
number of windows to navigate significantly!
